The lower portion is the front of the Commercial Space, the upper portion is an Apartment.
This is the entrance to the Commercial Space
There was an addition removed from the back and a lot of brick repair work needed.
As you can see we have already started replacing the old rotten fascia and soffit. You can see the new fascia board and look outs added to give strength to the roof eave.
There were no steel lintels installed over openings and as you can see there is cracking.
The patio door will be removed here as structural repairs to the triple brick wall over the patio door are necessary due to the condition of the brick.
WEST GREY RAISING THE ROOF | JCB and SONS
This Durham home had a 2.5/12" roof pitch with gable ends. JCB & Sons built a new 6/12" roof pitch out of 2/12" rafters and gave the house brand new cottage style ends. They also built an entire new room overtop of the garage with an 8' dormer to look out at the water.
This was a really fun project which will help modernize the look of the entire home. It will also extend the life-time of the new shingles, strengthen the entire structure of the house and eliminate the need for shoveling the snow that accumulates each year around Christmas!
This is not the end of this renovation. A new front entrance has been designed and built. As well as new front windows and siding. However, you will have to wait until the New Year to see those photos.

The veranda in Priceville is coming together! The posts Chris Simmonds made look amazing installed
and the rafters are up!
The barn board sheeting will be installed next to give a rustic country look from the inside of the porch. Then beautiful custom spindles will be installed once Chris Simmonds is finished custom turning them!
